Location: This is a globally remote position with potential occasional travel to/within Yemen. For candidates based in Jordan, Lebanon, Yemen and Dubai, there will be an option to work from one of our offices.
Contract type: Consultancy with potential to become permanent, supporting a 17-month project. Average 9.5 working days per month.

ARK Group has been working in Yemen since 2010, where we have an operational office, with a programme office in Amman supporting in-country programme/project delivery. Present and past ARK Group donors in Yemen include among others the US Government (Department of State and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID)), the UK’s Conflict, Stability and Security Fund (CSSF), the Office of the Special Envoy of the Secretary-General for Yemen (OSESGY), and the World Bank.
ARK Group is looking for a Researcher to join our Yemen research team. Reporting to the Head of Research and working closely with senior members of the Yemen research team, you will conduct mixed-methods research and collaborate with other members of the research and project(s) team(s), depending on the specific requirements, in the design, data collection, cleaning, and analysis, and the production of research outputs and deliverables. You will also contribute to business development activities related to ARK Group’s Yemen portfolio and build a public profile as subject matter expert through publications and the participation in relevant fora.
