Project: Strengthening Resilient Communities in Jordan
This project aims to enhance community resilience, economic empowerment, and resource management across Jordan, especially in vulnerable and underserved regions. The project is scheduled to run until 31 January 2026, with the possibility of extension based on funding availability.
Role Summary
Moonwall seeks a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to lead the implementation of this UNDP-supported project in Jordan. The successful candidate will possess a strong background in project management, a deep understanding of Jordan’s development landscape, and previous experience in international development. As Project Manager, you will ensure that all project activities are effectively planned, executed, and monitored, meeting Moonwall’s goals and aligning with UNDP’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Key Responsibilities
Project Implementation: Develop and manage detailed work plans, timelines, and budgets to achieve project objectives.
Stakeholder Coordination: Build and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, community organizations, and UNDP partners to foster collaboration.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Set up and oversee performance indicators and tracking systems to monitor project progress, adjusting strategies as necessary.
Financial Management: Oversee project budgets, ensuring efficient and compliant use of funds.
Team Management: Lead and support project staff, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Documentation & Reporting: Prepare high-quality progress reports for Moonwall and UNDP, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, International Development, Social Sciences, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years in project management, with at least 2 years in international development or humanitarian work. Experience with UNDP projects or in the MENA region is highly desirable.
Skills:
Proficiency in project management tools and software.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to work effectively in dynamic environments.
Language: Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
