Main Task amp; Responsibilities
- Designing and implementing new features and functionality
- Establishing and guiding the website's architecture
- Helping formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
- Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
- Write clean, well-designed code
- Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of at least two years of development using PHP
- Able to understand OOP
- Experience using laravel framework
- Know the basics about MySQL
- Can understand REST APIs well
- Familiarity about SOLID principles
- Knowledgeable and uses design patterns
- Dealt with AWS services (such as SQS and lambda)
- Practiced TDD and/or know about PHPUnit
- Understands how to use redis and caching in general
- Played around with VueJS
- Has a basic knowledge of versioning control
- Have some good problems solving skills
- Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Must be fluent in English written and oral
- Must be flexible to work in a fast-paced and evolving environment
