Job Description

Job Brief:

Responsible for acquiring new postpaid mobile subscribers by creating new offers that fit with the consumers’ needs and wants, deciding the right communication approach to reach the subscribers and design the right retention campaigns to retain the new subscribers and increase their life time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage GSM postpaid subscribers’ base.
  • Manage GSM packages, plans, promotions’ pricing.
  • Manage GSM postpaid customer acquisition and retention.
  • Lead the design of the GSM Postpaid services roadmap and ensure it’s consistency with other teams’ roadmaps.
  • Provide reports and detailed analysis for the handled segments and come up with a recommendation plan based on the analysis.
  • Ensure a smooth and simple customer journey for the handled segments, analyze the gaps, and come up with action plans.
  • Manage GSM postpaid subscribers’ base.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the direct manager.


Leadership Responsibilities :

  • Manage subordinates’ learning amp; development requirements and ensure that it is successfully delivered and provide related feedback to the management.
  • Assign roles and work load distribution, set team objectives and conduct regular informal one-on-one meetings to deliver personalized feedback and provide support to attain goals.
  • Conduct formal performance evaluation process for the subordinates in order to optimize workplace productivity
  • Participate in the recruitment, selection, evaluation process of new employees.
  • Provide guidance and delegate responsibilities to subordinates to facilitate performing different tasks to support succession planning process.
  • Manage subordinates' administrational requirements.
  • Assure that all subordinates are following Umniah’s policies and procedures and highlight any violation for the code of conduct.
  • Manage economic, efficient and effective budget plan and control in alignment with the department and Umniah’s strategy.
  • Ensure that employees are engaged and motivated through creating a respectful and trusting relationship with them and communicating Umniah values.
  • Demonstrate flexibility in management by accommodating individual employee needs such as adjustable schedules or remote work options.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any related field.

Experience Level: Intermediate experience in marketing in telecommunications industry or any other related industry.

Certifications amp; Licensure:

Desirable: Project Management Certification

Technical Skills amp; Knowledge:

Essential:

  • Excellent knowledge of designing and using customer segmentation to develop value propositions in a mobile operator
  • Creativity and openness for innovation and capability of implementing best practices in Jordanian market environment
  • Excellent knowledge of consumer behavior
  • Excellent knowledge of B2B marketing
  • Excellent knowledge of Jordanian telecommunication; Umniah's competition, mobile telecommunications industry, consumer behavior and consumer segments
  • Excellent knowledge of customer experience
  • Good knowledge of customer journey mapping
  • Excellent command of Computer skills (Microsoft Office)

Desirable:

  • Good knowledge of digital marketing
