About The Role

Are you a tech-savvy learning enthusiast ready to take on the challenge and wear multiple hats, playing the role of facilitator, innovator, researcher, and developer? Then this post is for you! We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning and practicing experiences, with a unique twist and goal divided into 2 main areas

  • Learning and development: facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner using different learning tools and systems
  • Organization governance: support in building documentation of different processes and procedures in foodics in a detailed, comprehensive, structure and easy to understand flow.

Responsibilities:
  • Develops and designs courses and curriculum for training and development purpose and in a spectrum of different topics and specialities
  • Edits and develops online learning materials using different online design tools and collaborating with subject experts to develop course content.
  • Designs learning activities, assignments, and assessments to support learning retention in alignment with content owners and material developers, and decide on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments.
  • Creates computer-based training (CBT) modules and storyboards using interactive learning design tools.
  • Manages online learning communities and provide actionable insights and feedback as and when needed.
  • Analyzes, updates, and refines existing online content , policies and procedure to remain up to date and relevant to the business.
  • Keeps current on best practices in instructional design and content structure.
  • Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product.
  • Create supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc).
  • Work with business representatives to develops instructor’s manuals, policies, procedures, SLA rubrics, and other governance material and tools.
  • Maintain up to date governance material for foodics as a whole by planning ongoing updates and reviews to all relevant documentation platforms.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of instructional theory, including assessment for measuring learning retention.
  • BS, MS, or higher degree in instructional design, education, or related field.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical colleagues and clients.
  • Familiarity with course management systems, such as Blackboard.
  • Experience with design platforms, such as InDesign and others.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills- the ability to plan project timelines in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Understanding of website design best practices and has hands-on experience dealing with such.
  • Proficiency with learning management systems (LMS) is a must, and exposure to multiple LMS providers is a plus.
