Job Summary

The account manager serves customers by selling products and meeting customer needs. Professional follow-up on many dense operations, services existing accounts obtains orders, and establishes new accounts by planning and organizing a daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors

Duties and Responsibilties:

  • Handle inquiries and requests from customers and address their needs
  • Building strong client relationships to maintain old business and acquire new customers.
  • Stay on top of accounts, making sure they receive services that are within their budget and meet their needs.
  • Know and understand the client business environment in terms of timing, key priorities, budgets, decisions making process, etc
  • Provide the sector lead and product managers with status reports on business opportunities (accurate forecast and pipeline).
  • Meet regularly with other team members to discuss progress and find new ways to improve business.
  • Generate progress reports for clients and senior leaders within the organization.
  • Gather and analyze information on client IT Needs and promotes STS products to meet the client’s needs.
  • Arrange for presentation by relevant sales staff to the client.
  • Maintain accurate client records, keeping track of any contract updates and renewals.
  • Acting as the client’s representative in a firm to ensure that their demands are met with a focus on improving the customer experience.
  • Work with sales and other internal teams to develop strategic marketing plans and ensure KPIs are being met.
  • Understanding of our products and services offerings to better upsell and cross-sell to clients.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities and communicate with the sales team regularly.
  • Gather and analyze relevant information on competitive products within the account and promote STS substitutes to the client.
  • Work and coordinate with the Marketing team and customers on events.
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service.
  • Professional updates verbally and emails sure a major role in CRM.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration , or any related field
  • 3-7 years of experience in selling technical products, solutions and/or services is a must
  • Solid experience with CRM software
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quotas and receiving positive customer feedback.
