We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Health and Safety Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing and implementing safety programs, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations. Requirements
Responsibilities:
1. Develop, implement, and manage health and safety programs to ensure compliance with local regulations and international standards.
2. Conduct risk assessments and recommend measures to reduce or eliminate hazards in the workplace.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate safety considerations into all aspects of project planning and execution.
4. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify potential areas of improvement.
5. Investigate incidents, accidents, and near misses, and provide detailed reports and recommendations for preventive measures.
6. Develop and deliver training programs on safety procedures and protocols for employees.
7. Stay informed about changes in health and safety legislation and ensure the organization's policies and procedures are up to date.
8. Collaborate with external agencies and authorities to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Health and Safety, Environmental Engineering.
2. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in health and safety engineering.
3. A Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or equivalent certification is highly desirable.
4. In-depth knowledge of Saudi Arabian health and safety regulations and standards.
5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
