Your Top Responsibilities
- Ensure Maqsam's adherence to laws and regulations by developing a clear compliance strategy. Regularly update and advise management on any legal changes affecting our operations.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with regulatory bodies and industry associations.
- Develop and manage anti-fraud policies and systems for prevention, detection, and response.
- Be the go-to expert for compliance, regulatory, and anti-fraud issues.
- Perform risk assessments and audits, identifying and addressing compliance and fraud risks.
- Boost the compliance and anti-fraud culture, developing and delivering training programs to enhance employee awareness and understanding of compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with internal teams, such as Sales and operations, to ensure compliance-related matters are addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
What We Expect from You
- Bachelor's degree in law, or a related field.
- Proven experience in a compliance management and anti-fraud role, preferably in the software, SaaS, or telecom industries. B2B experience is a great plus.
- Experience with regulatory bodies in KSA, UAE, and Qatar is highly desirable.
- Solid understanding of laws and regulations specific to cloud communications and SaaS businesses, including but not limited to data protection, privacy laws, and anti-fraud regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of leading initiatives and influencing change.
- Demonstrated ability to navigate complex legal and regulatory frameworks and provide guidance and recommendations to senior stakeholders.
