As a Product Specialist at Tamatem Plus: You will play a crucial role in shaping the direction of the Tamatem Plus Store. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth market research , competitor analysis, behavior analysis and user research. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to draft the business requirements and user stories based on the INVEST framework.
Your role within Tamatem’s world will include:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, opportunities, and potential gaps in the market that our products can address.
- Analyze competitors' products, pricing strategies, and market positioning to identify opportunities and differentiate our products.
- Monitor and analyze customer feedback, market data, and user behavior to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities.
- Conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, to gather valuable insights and identify user pain points.
- Draft comprehensive business requirements documents (BRDs) that outline product objectives, functionality, and specifications.
- Create user stories that align with the INVEST framework to facilitate efficient development
- Regularly update and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap based on data and customer insights.
- Work closely with Senior Product Managers, Designers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure a shared understanding of product requirements and objectives.
- Engage actively in stand-ups, design reviews, and other technical discussions to uphold product quality.
- Leverage data and analytics to make informed product decisions and continuously improve product performance.
- Manage the store by updating and maintaining content to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical teams to facilitate efficient product development.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
You Have:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or any other related fields.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a product role or as a business analyst, preferably in ecommerce or tech startups.
