About the job

Our team is growing rapidly, and we're in need of a Senior PHP Engineer with exposure to both solution design and architecture to join us in expanding globally!

What you’ll do?

• Establish and guide the architecture of the website
• Design and implement new features and functionalities
• Help formulate an effective, responsive design and turning it into a working theme and plugin
• Write well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practices
• Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
• Troubleshoot, test, and maintain the core product software and databases to ensure strong optimization and functionality
• Write clean, well-designed code
• Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle

Requirements

• 4+ years experience in Back-end development using PHP on Laravel framework
• Experience in a dynamic, and agile focused environment
• Excellent understanding of OOP
• Solid experience using Laravel framework
• Extensive experience with MySQL
• Excellent understanding of REST APIs
• Familiarity with SOLID principles
• Experience in using different designs patterns
• Experience in cloud technologies and specifically AWS services
• Practiced TDD and/or know about PHPUnit
• Has a general understanding of Redis and caching
• Experimented with VueJS
• Knows the basics of versioning control
• Self-starter with ability to work independently across functional groups and on multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Fluent in written and spoken English
