We are looking for mid/senior level engineers, but more than the number of years of experience, we are looking for the right skills and attitude. Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer science or related field
- Strong fundamentals in Java language and familiarity with writing tests
- Strong organizational skills and oral/written communication skills in English
- Hands-on experience using Selenium amp; Java to develop Test Automation Suites
- Experience with any test frameworks such as JUnit, TestNG, Mockito, etc.
- Experience with RESTful API and Web Services testing is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git is required and hands-on experience in Linux Operating systems is desirable
- Object-oriented software analysis and good analytical skills
- A good understanding of relational databases
- Understanding testing throughout the software lifecycle, including unit, integration, component, performance, and end-to-end system testing is desirable
- Team player who enjoys working in a dynamic environment and has a positive attitude to learn new things
- Must demonstrate the ability to balance and prioritize activities to ensure critical items are completed
Desired skills that will help you thrive in this position:
- Familiarity with Spring Boot or related IoC frameworks
- Experience with either Jenkins, Docker, or AWS Cloud is a plus
- Experience in Monitoring Platforms like Grafana and Time Series DBs like Prometheus, InfluxDB, Graphite, etc. is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology for software development
Responsibilities
- Drive software quality assurance lifecycle as part of a Scrum team and deliver high-quality releases on time. We release code to production multiple times a week. Test Automation is a critical part of what allows us to do that.
- Learn and follow Agile Scrum methodology for software development and participate in Scrum ceremonies
- Establish and coordinate test strategies with development teams; design and implement test plans and test cases
- Develop and execute automated UI and functional tests
- Build and maintain automated CI flows using Jenkins
- Contribute to the maintenance and creation of test automation frameworks
- Troubleshoot issues in systems under test and production environment
