Responsibilities
- Design and build User Interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Ajax.
- Design and build microservices for REST-APIs using PHP, MySQL.
- Deploy services on AWS or Azure.
- Debug and resolve production issues in a prompt manner.
- Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules.
- Solve performance problems and architectural challenges.
- Integration of MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL database.
- Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
- Understanding fundamental design principles behind a scalable application.
- User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
- Integration of multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in web development.
- Database experience (MY SQL or SQL server or Oracle).
- MVC structure experience.
- Frontend development (JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, CSS, Bootstrap).
- Web services amp; API experience.
- PHP Frameworks (Laravel, CodeIgniter, Symfony, Zend).
- Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases and their declarative query languages.
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
