We are looking for a data-driven Product Specialist to manage the Product operations and provide support for Hotels product. This role sits at the intersection of a few different departments, helping to better connect product teams with business operations teams, like customer support, sales, and similar.
In this role, you will:
- Develop an understanding of company products to meet the company's current and future needs.
- Become a liaison between business operations and the product team to streamline operations and get relevant insights
- Support various teams by analyzing technical gaps in API connectivity and data.
- Analyze gathered data to help product management make better-informed decisions
Key responsibilities:
- Analysis and discovery
- Address and analyze the emerging issues or incidents raised by the different stakeholders. This will require analyzing API requests/responses and reading XML/JSON log files.
- Evaluate the requirements/incidents to understand the impact caused to the business or stakeholders and ensure that the most impactful and high priority issues get prioritized for immediate attention
- Debug with the help of technical teams to understand the exact root cause of the issue
- Conduct discovery sessions with stakeholders on a regular basis in order to identify items that can bring operational efficiency (identify, record, track and update the items)
- Define business processes to streamline product development and communication between product team and business operations/stakeholders
- Work closely with other internal departments where additional input is needed to complete internal projects and initiatives
- Delivery
- Identify and collect all incoming insights and incidents, and process them accordingly
- Work alongside the engineering and product teams and help clear any queries etc
- Maintain product documentation to ensure all stakeholders are up to date
Requirements
- You donβt shy away from processes and you are able to pick up quickly even complex ones
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
- Ability to perform root cause analysis and scenario analysis
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A high level of accountability and ownership
- Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional time-management skills

- Experience in the travel and tourism industry
- Experience with Salesforce
- Analyzing and Executing Data Dashboards (GA or Tableau or any Data Dashboard tool)
