About the Role

Foodics is looking for a Technical Product Manager, a specialist who manages the technical functions of a product and employs strategic decision-making for ensuring that the product can compete in the open markets.

You will be responsible for aligning engineering teams and work in collaboration with the Product and Business Managers to achieve product goals. The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills and rich industry experience in engineering roles to be able to meet job requirements. The position demands a mix of management and technical skills to lead development teams.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business requirements and compare to the existing software capabilities, able to create gap analysis and drive the gaps to closure through JIRA.
  • Lead/participate with cross-functional teams for issues analysis, detail these issues, and propose business improvements to mitigate future occurrences.
  • Support daily issues troubleshooting to root cause and handle the second-tier escalations, and create immediate solutions for the issues which need lead time to implement.
  • Create and manage the product technical backlog and roadmap on JIRA
  • Write technical stories that clearly explain the technical flow which may include flowcharts, general usage of SDKs, the required API calls, relations in database, etc.
  • In partnership with the development teams to perform functional testing of system enhancements/changes resulting from the work effort.
  • Monitor the app performance and stability through Crashlytics and Logs

Requirements

  • Deep understanding of SDLC and agile processes
  • Experience in local networking, services integrations, and web APIs
  • Experience in writing detailed technical documentation, e.g., writing full documentation for integrating mobile app with payment service
  • Experience working in agile methodology amp; demonstrated the ability to work in dynamic, fast-paced work environments.
  • Strong team collaboration, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Can resolve issues collaboratively without escalations.
  • Must have great analytical and troubleshooting skills.
